che(e)r(r)y blossoms

one of the most exciting prospects involved with moving to vancouver was the promise of cherry blossoms in the spring. and lo and behold, they are blooming right now! i think my face was the pinnacle of enthusiasm when i spotted the first opening buds. anyway, i followed the now normative course of action for going on a photoshoot: (1) grab lyndsay. (2) grab camera. (3) take adorable pictures.
here is the result!

au marché

there are few things i love more than a well-stocked farmer's market, and the public market on granville island is no exception. a couple weeks ago, my friends and i took advantage of the rare vancouver sunshine and trooped out there to gaze at expensive produce and deliciously tempting fresh bread. also we may or may not have been stalked by an overly aggressive flock of seagulls. but no matter. a good time was had by all. pictures below!

what do you get when you mix a parasol, a beach, a best friend, a sunset, lots of foliage, and a lack of better things to do?

so apparently i only update my blog when i can't sleep, and in short bursts of things that are long overdue.
i acknowledged it, which means it's okay, right?
right.
anyway, here's another frivolous photoshoot had with friends. we found some christmas lights in the lounge, and here's what ensued:

(and there are no nudists there in the winter.)
(not that i care either way.)

i go down there a lot to take pictures, on account of the gorgeousness and all.
